This will take you to a page where you can choose the Slack channel you want to post alerts into.
That’s all you need to do to create an integration in Slack.
The Slack instructions include a URL that you will need in your Librato configuration.
Librato Configuration¶
With your Slack information in hand, navigate to the “Outbound” section of your Integrations page. Click on the Slack integration, then on the “Add Configuration” button.
Add your service a name and add the URL that the Slack integration created for you.
That’s it! You can now use Slack with your alerts.
Snapshots in Slack¶
The Slack service integration also supports snapshots. You can take a snapshot of a chart and post it into a Slack room.
Creating Alerts¶
After setting up the service you can tie alerts to a service destination. You can read more about creating alerts in the Alerts Introduction knowledge base article.
